In Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, the divine tree which once stood in the middle of the Harvest Goddess’ pond is weakening, the creatures are beginning to leave the land, and the five bells have lost their power. The Harvest Goddess believes that only the strength of the Harvest King can help revive the earth and bring the tree back to life.

Farm life has always been the focus of the Harvest Moon series, and My Little Shop technically continues that tradition. You do live on a farm and have to knock out the daily rituals of watering crops, feeding the chickens and petting the cows , but that’s pretty much it and is accomplished in about one minute.

As you move into a new life of farming and adventure, you soon discover that the island is in trouble. First, the Mother Tree is dying and ceases to show signs of any life and on top of that, the Harvest Goddess has vanished

Rune Factory: Frontier is a Wii iteration of the Harvest Moon spin-off series Rune Factory, the first two entries having been released on the Nintendo DS. Rune Factory takes many of its gameplay elements from Harvest Moon, but adds dungeon crawling. If you’ve ever wanted to grow legions of crops, but also wanted to kill some monsters on the side, Rune Factory: Frontier is the game for you.

Dolphin is a Gamecube emulator. It also has preliminary support for Wii and basic Triforce emulation (this is pending a commit, and does not run games yet).
