This used to be without a doubt the fastest Nintendo 64 emulator available at that time(and it is?). It ran at full speed, with full sound on my old Pentium 233 with 3DFX Voodoo 1

Mupen 64 is just another Nintendo 64 emulator. The only reason why it’s here is because it has made a good progress in compatibility and because it has been ported to other operating systems as well

Project64 is a great, free Nintendo 64 emulator which can emulate a lot of the comercial n64 roms out there. Emulator meaning that Project64 creates an environment on your PC under which real N64 software can run and be played in much the same way as it would be on the original hardware system. If you have the right PC (meet the minimum requirements atleast), Project64 will probably work better for you than any other Nintendo 64 emulator

Snes9x is a great Super Nintendo emulator for which ports are available for many platforms, unlike ZSNES. Though Snes9x also has many of the features of ZSNES, it lacks a bit in compatibility. This doesn’t mean it’s bad, but there can only be one the best: ZSNES

Dolwin is an open source Game Cube emulator fully written with C. Even though it’s still under development you can still be able to boot and run some commercial games and a few demos

This is simply the best Super Nintendo available. It’s ultra fast and should run at full speed on any Celeron or faster PC
